I was struggling with my UCAS personal statement and needed some help. Student Fingerprints was good and very professionally presented. It helped me with knowing what to write, especially using all the prompts and questions. I would recommend myPS.
Oliver Jones, Shropshire. Software Engineering Degree.

As a mature student, without the support of a school I was really struggling to write my personal statement. myPS was excellent it helped me to learn a lot about myself and it was very helpful to put all my ideas down in one place. It was really interesting finding out what my values were, the final few words completely summed me up. The skills section was extremely good, I didn’t realise how many skills I had or how adaptable they were. After using myPS my belief changed from ‘I can’t write a good personal statement’ to ‘I can…’ Student Fingerprints helped me to write my personal statement without doing it for me. Thanks.
Lucy Jones. Conwy.

Student Fingerprints was good value for money and was very helpful. It was easy to use and very simple to understand because of the straightforward layout. I’d recommend Student Fingerprints to anyone writing a UCAS personal statement.
Beverley Hart. Hassocks, West Sussex.

Despite having left writing my Personal Statement to the last minute, myPS wrote 60% of it for me and it was definitely the most valuable tool that I found. myPS was excellent because it didn’t preach and explained why topics were important in a way that related to me. The suggestions and justification of what to include in my personal statement made sense. I’d definitely recommend myPS and if I’d used it sooner I could have written an even better personal statement! - but I still got 5 offers including my 1st choice at Aberdeen.
Steve Bennett. Corby.

MyPS is a must have for all students who are serious about making their UCAS personal statement unique, genuine and personal. Student Fingerprints has a quality tool that is easy to use and understand. Helping young people to know who they are and where they are going prior to submitting their UCAS application will ensure they are accessing the most appropriate course for themselves, rather that drifting from one course to another.

Student Fingerprints helped me to understand that a personal statement should reflect who I am as a person. It enabled me to gather my experiences and use them to show myself in the best possible light. I learnt what was important. I discovered 'my gremlins', things that I feared, and how to overcome them. I secured an interview and then an offer from Birmingham, my first choice of university. Thank you.
Emma Milton. Birmingham

Student Fingerprints is 'user-friendly' - clear and focused. It provides a very useful tool for anyone applying to University.
Jackie Broughton. Trainee Careers Advisor.

Student Fingerprints gave me a clear idea about what to include in my personal statement. I learnt what made me James. I had never really thought about what makes me, me before.I found out what my goals are in life. It gave me a clearer view of what I want to achieve. I have a place to study Hospitality Management at Plymouth. All the best.
James Montague. Plymouth, Hospitality Management

Before doing the workshop I had never really thought about who I was, just taking it for granted that I am who I am, which made starting my personal statement very tough. The workshop helped me to discover aspects of me that I needed to know to complete the task. For example, the beliefs section showed me that I was scared of moving on and that by completing a personal statement I am making the decision to make a big change in my life. I realised how small and ridiculous this fear was and it helped me to get started.

'The most interesting thing I learnt about myself in the workshop was my values and they were a positive thing to concentrate on. The values I cared most about were respectable and decent which gave me confidence in myself, which is significantly important when writing a personal statement. Thank you for the help last year, I have a place at Exeter to study Drama.
William Wilson. Exeter, Drama
